Partnership Calendar of Events
Throughout the year, the School~Community Partnership hosts many events. While the object of the events is to raise funds for our schools, they are eagerly awaited by all members of our community. We host events which give you the chance to meet and mingle with other supporters. Depending on your Partnership level, you and your company may be eligible for free admission/entry to these events. Here is a list of upcoming events:
Evening at the Pops!

Boston Marriott Quincy
Gather with family and friends for an enchanting evening of classical music presented by the Quincy Symphony Orchestra. Music Director Yoichi Udagawa who is witty, charming, and engages his audiences, has received rave reviews by the Boston Globe. His performances have been called “powerful and emotionally evocative.”
The concert program is sure to please with a varied selection ranging from classical music to medleys from the King and I and Star Wars to patriotic favorites including the finale from the 1812 Overture which many people know as the signature piece for the Fourth of July fireworks.
Quincy Public Schools John Adams Orchestra will perform from 7:00-8:00 pm prior to the main event in the hotel foyer.
Tickets are $25 or you can reserve a table of ten ($250) to enjoy this evening with your friends and neighbors. Your ticket purchase supports Quincy Public Schools Music Department.

Annual Golf Tournament

Join us for our annual Quincy School-Community Partnership Golf Tournament. This tournament provides the perfect opportunity for Quincy Public Schools staff and their business partners to share in a day of fun. You will also enjoy a delicious lunch and the chance to win some great prizes! Proceeds from this tournament support technology in Quincy Public Schools.
Historical Walk for Education
Coming in October. Watch for the announcement!
The Historical Walk for Education is a wonderful opportunity for Quincy Public Schools staff, students and their families to promote public education in Quincy. As you walk along the route, you’ll capture Quincy’s rich history by viewing historical sites. If you saw the HBO mini-series “John Adams” or read the Pulitzer Prize-winning book, you’ll see the places where the Adams family lived and worked. All walkers receive complimentary Historical Walk T-shirts. Proceeds from this event support the QPS Teacher Mini-Grant Initiative.
