Arts and Cultural Programs

Quincy High School and North Quincy High School have excellent theatre, music and art programs available to all students. From academic offerings to clubs to music groups, there is a place for you enrich your life through the arts. The middle and elementary schools offer music lessons, art classes, before-and after-school programs, and summer theatre programs. Go to the school pages to view more offerings.

Beyond Quincy Public Schools, there are many opportunities for students to get involved in the arts or cultural programs in the city of Quincy. Thomas Crane Public library often has guest speakers and programs. Quincy Arts Council sponsors and promotes a variety of cultural programs. There is an annual Arts Fest (usually the beginning of September) which showcases artwork by talented local artists. There are thriving professional and non-professional theatre groups, a choral society and a symphony orchestra. An August Moon festival (in August of each year) highlights Asian culture.

From theatre to music programs offered through our schools to community groups, students have a wide range of options to try something new or improve a current skill. Quincy has a wealth of arts opportunities - all close to home!

Some programs are free, some charge a fee. Click on the links below for more information
