We continue to update our website with new information and links and work with our schools to create an informational resource for parents, students and the community. Check it out! As always, if you have any questions, suggestions, or find any broken links, please email the webmaster.

QPS Educators

We have assembled the latest education materials on everything from MCAS to lesson planning. Find inspiration and information on lesson planning, research topics, professional development and libraries. If you would like to suggest a link, email the site to Richard O'Brien for review and inclusion. We are dedicated to making this the most complete support area for our educators.

QPS Shared Lessons - Professional Development Library

We have hundreds of documents prepared by your colleagues covering every subject from elementary reading to high school science. They are designed by QPS teachers through sharing best practices. These lessons are an important part of our professional development library.

Fresh Pond Links

Click on Fresh Pond lesson plans for a particular subject and grade level and you will be brought to FreshPond.net where the lessons are located. Each lesson starts with a description (this contains the title, author, subject, and grade level), then gives the curriculum challenge, curriculum standards, learning goals, instructional plan, tools and resources, and teacher materials needed for the lesson.

Web Sites for Teachers:

We've gathered the best of the web to help you with lesson planning, interesting projects, links to libraries and other professionals and more. The General links often contain information about many subjects including general classroom, music, art, science, languages and more. The specialized sites are usually specific to a particular topic - but may have cross-curriculum suggestions for lessons as well.
