bullet March 24th the Bulb Sale will begin and end April 7th
bulletScholastic Book Fair- March 11th-March 18th We need volunteers during school hours to work and during parent conferences (see Sue Maloney to sign up)
bulletParker School Magnets ($1 a piece)
bulletParker School t-shirts- students surveyed wanted red as the color, prices discussed ($10 kids, $12 adults M-XXL), need to order 200. A letter will be sent home with the t-shirt information.
bulletPrincipal’s Report
bulletRead Across America Month- if all students reach their grades reading goal, that class will get a chance to win tickets as a class to see “Horton Hears a Who”- Mayor is buying snacks for the movies
bulletDaffodils for Cancer were sold- $500 was made
bulletReport Card conferences are Tuesday afternoon (March 11th) and evening (March 18th)
bulletAgendas for students- would PTO fund next year for grade 3
bulletKindergarten Registration was this week- 40 children have been registered so far
bulletAssessment Time- MCAS, MEPA, IPT Testing- a calendar was sent home to make parents and students aware
bulletELL City Wide Meeting was this morning at Parker School- 22 people attended, translators were available, surveyed parents about translators at PTO and either a morning or evening PTO meeting, need parents to translate at evening PTO meetings
