All Earth Science courses are focused on the topics covered by the Grade 9 and 10 Learning Standards in Earth and Space Science. These include:

• Matter and Energy in the Earth System
• The Evolution of the Universe
• Geochemical Processes and Cycles in the Earth System

Topics from the Physical Sciences Learning Standards are also an integral part of Earth Science courses. These include:

• The Structure of Matter
• Interaction of Substances (Chemical Physical Changes)
• Forces and Motion
