Graduation and Promotion Requirements

Students are required to obtain 100 points to graduate, and must meet
the academic requirements listed below. 
 
Students must pass: 

• 4 years of English
• 4 years of Social Studies
• 3 years of Science
• 3 years of Mathematics
• 4 years of Physical Education
• Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS)
• 2 years of Foreign Language (beginning with Class of 2003)

The promotional requirements for all students are:

• to enter grade ten students must earn 20 points,
• to enter grade eleven students must earn 45 points,
• to enter grade twelve students must earn 70 points.
