Text Box: During the month of December, the Parker School Community will be focusing on kindness, by performing Random Acts of Kindness toward each other.  Teachers will be reinforcing these acts, by “catching kids being kind.”
Here’s how the program works:
Each child will prepare a green handprint of each hand. These will be collected, and grouped to represent the entire class.  Handprints for each class will be kept in a central location in the classroom.  When a teacher, or staff member “catches a child being kind”, he/she will instruct the student to write his/her name on a finger.  Each time a full hand is complete, the handprint will be sent to the office.  These handprints will be used to gradually construct a beau-

Throughout this month, ask your children how the tree is coming along.  Encourage them to participate, and to be proud of the times their names are represented on the tree.  You can get involved too!  We are planning a special surprise from the parents at the culmination of our project.  If you would like to help, please call the office.  (617) 984-8710)  Shhh…it’s a surprise!

PERILS PERSIST                                                   AT PARKER!
Our morning and afternoon parking problems continue, and we have been getting calls from neighbors with complaints.  Please help us by following these parking guidelines:
· BILLINGS RD:  Drop off can safely occur on the Parker side of Billings Rd., by the school yard gate.  Please allow children to exit the vehicle from the passenger side only.     NO PARKING IN THIS AREA —drop off only.
· GLOVER AVE.:  Drop off can also work at the Glover Ave gate on the driver’s side.  Please DO NOT park in front of driveways on Glover Ave.

Text Box: PARKER REACHES OUT!
Our Cans for Turkeys project was a huge success!  Working as a team, our school community collected 3,800 cans and bottles.  Together with cash donations, we were able to donate $200.00 to the Quincy Crisis Center for Thanksgiving turkeys.  Thank you for your support with this project!
