Is Quincy High School a technical school?

No, Quincy High School is a comprehensive school with technical classes.

Where is Quincy High School located?

Quincy High School is located in the center of Quincy. A 3 minute walk across the street from Quincy Center T. Station and next door to Quincy College.  Click on Find Us to view a map.

Do you serve breakfast?

Breakfast is available every morning immediately before school starts at all schools in Quincy. Breakfast consists of a selection of cereals, muffins, bagels, peanut butter, cream cheese, fresh fruit, fruit juice and milk.

What does breakfast cost?

The cost for breakfast is $1.00 at the high schools. At the secondary level breakfast ala carte items are also available for purchase.  Students who are eligible for Free or Reduced price lunches are automatically eligible for free or reduced price breakfast. The cost for a reduced price breakfast is 25 cents. Click here more information on eligibility requirements for free and reduced lunch.

How much does lunch cost?

Secondary full-price student lunch is $1.85.   The cost for a reduced price lunch is 40 cents.  Milk is served with all lunches.  The cost of purchasing milk only is 30 cents and milk choices include 2%, 1%, and 1% chocolate.   Some lunches also include fruit juices in addition to the milk.

Quincy High School prepares its students for higher education or careers through a rigorous, comprehensive academic curriculum.  But we also know that high school is a time for students to explore new interests and reinforce learning.  Our school programs offer a variety of choices for all students. 

Programs vary throughout the year based on student needs and funding.  Please review our current offerings and review the programs that are available to all high school students in Quincy.

Bradford Library

Welcome to Bradford Library. Quincy High School's Library houses over 27,500 volumes and has access to hundreds of periodical titles through computerized searching services. Reference services are available in the library to help students gain access to information using a broad range of materials. The mission of the Bradford Library staff is to teach students how to access information, to critically evaluate this information, and to enable students to become life-long learners.

Clubs/Athletics

Quincy High School has dozens of clubs and organizations.  Students can pursue interests in music, the arts, theatre, community service, academics, athletics and more.  Watch for announcements about club meetings.

Quincy High School has dozens of clubs for students.  From the arts to community service to academics, there is a group of students at QHS who share your interest!

Alumni

Quincy High School has an active alumni association. You can search for classmates, post questions in their online forum and more.  The Alumni group also contribute to QHS in many ways including the Pride Rock, t-shirts for students and support for school trips.  A special feature is the class contact list which has alumni names from the Class of 1936 to the present.
