At Wollaston Elementary School, we recognize that great learning can take place outside the classroom.  Reading can be the portal for an adventure through time.  Math can be the magic of building and creating.

Wollaston Elementary School is proud to host a number of academic, remedial, and enrichment programs for our students.  Programs vary, depending on students needs and interest, grants received, and facility availability.  Quincy Public Schools also has a comprehensive list of programs available for all elementary students.

Parents

Wollaston is fortunate to have an active and caring Parent Teacher Organization.  Our students and their parents have benefited not only from the PTO’s generosity in paying for software programs such as Claris Works for Kids, but also in being able to extend their learning experiences beyond the classroom by attending and participating in programs at local museums, theaters and other areas related to their studies.  Because of the PTO’s generous funding we can make these great things happen for our kids. In addition, parent volunteers have helped by sharing their learning through such projects as teaching art appreciation, supporting classroom activities, working with students on school beautification projects, organizing book fairs, pumpkin fairs, cookouts, and myriads of day to day activities.

We know how challenging it can be to raise happy, healthy kids, so we also offer a select list of parenting web sites with lots of great info!
