A great site for help in high school math. This site offers well designed lessons, examples and explanations that every high school math student needs. One unique attribute of this site is that many areas of mathematics have video lessons. In addition, Mathplanet.com offers SAT and ACT tests with separate downloadable answer keys.

Greg Tang Math


Greg Tang Math is a great website which engages students from K-12 in fun, challenging and focused math games. These games will build mathematical fluency as well as bolster mathematical conceptual understanding. Kakooma, one of the games on this sight, requires students to develop the operational skills to begin to see relationships between numbers relative to addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.



This free website is a great way for students to work on developing computational fluency. Students can practice building their fluency by daily practice. The program adapts to students correct and incorrect answers and focuses the practice turning a students' areas of weakness into strengths.


This site has great resources about the countries that students learn about in class. It has games, activities and quizzes to help with geography. Students can engage in the activities at different levels.

Switch Zoo


This make and play web site is where students can make new animals, play animal games, solve animal puzzles, take a guided tour, and join a zoo quest. Students can read interesting facts about the behavior and characteristics of the 142 animal species in Switch Zoo. Take a tour to learn how to make new animals or go on a creative writing field trip.



Find fun word facts, help with grammar, correct pronunciations, synonyms, commonly confused words, and challenging word puzzles and games like Sudoku, Play Four and crossword puzzles.

Engineering Encounters: Bridge Design Contest


Student engineers can design and test a virtual bridge while competing in Engineering Encounters Bridge Design Contest (designer software will be available January 2016). This contest is an Internet-based competition that provides middle school and high school students with a realistic, engaging introduction to engineering.



This is a wonderful site for practicing French or Spanish verb conjugations in all tenses. Teachers use it to give students the additional drills they need to master all the verb forms. It is a useful resource for students on IEPs, too because it provides online notes with the conjugations, in addition to drills. It's a great way for kids to get extra review at home.



An interactive review game where students are "contestants" and can use their cellphones to enter their answers. Students enter a pin number to join the game and then create a "nickname". They see/hear a question projected on a main screen and choose their answer. Kahoot is best played in a group with multiple devises (i.e. cell phone/tablets).



Flocabulary is an online library of educational hip-hop songs, videos and activities for students in Grades K-12. It's used in the classroom but can also be enjoyed at home. It takes student engagement to a whole different level!

AAA Math


AAA Math features a comprehensive set of interactive arithmetic lessons. This is a free site with unlimited practice available on each topic which allows a thorough mastery of the concepts.



If you love math, hate math or need homework help, this site is for you. Contains Pre-Algebra (Factors and primes and Decimals), Algebra (Exponents, Lines, and Functions)and Pre-calculus lessons. This site has a vast practice section as well as math games.
