Talking with Young Children about Racism and Current Events
To Our Preschool Families,
During this time of nationwide discord, many parents have reached out and asked for guidance in talking to their children about topics such as racism, the recent nationwide protests, embracing diversity and increasing understanding. Finally, for those who may have missed it, CNN and Sesame Street teamed up for their second Town Hall style program this past Saturday. It featured questions from children and parents about racism, the recent nationwide protests, diversity and inclusivity.
