Congratulations to all of the BMMS students who participated in our annual STEM Fair on Thursday, March 14! This fun, educational event promotes the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills–and promotes many students’ interest in STEM subjects and careers!

Projects on display included experiments in physics, chemistry, electrical engineering, botany, and environmental science. Students investigated topics including the chemistry of ice cream, the efficacy of soap vs. hand sanitizer, and how the composition of a hockey puck impacts friction on the ice.

We extend special thanks to Mr. Chella for his leadership of the event; BMMS staff for their assistance with the fair; parents and guardians for supporting our young scientists; and, of course, our students for making the event possible!
