On September 19, 2022, the National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced that eight North Quincy High School students were commended for their scholastic achievements. Approximately 34,000 students nationwide are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. The eight students who were commended through the National Merit Scholarship Program are Nicholas Enbar-Salo, Ashna Guha, Katie Jiang, Jason Li, Sophie Nerine, Alexander Stankov, Sabrina Teng, and Kaitlyn Vu.
We are also thrilled to announce that Dominique Dang will continue in the National Merit Scholarship Program and has been recognized as a National Merit Scholarship Semi-finalist. 16,000 students have been recognized as semi-finalists across the nation. Dominique will have the opportunity to advance to the Finalist level of this competition over the course of this year.
