Families can view attendance in real-time using the QPS Aspen Family Portal. If a student is missing more than three days, schools will take action early to help:
- Daily calls from the attendance office
- Conversations with the school nurse or counselor
- Review by the Student Support Services Team
- Notification letters home after multiple absences
- Parent/guardian meetings or attendance hearings
- Home visits from the Supervisor of Attendance
- Referrals to outside counseling or the Family Assistance Conference
