Understanding QPS-MTSS
Our Goals
QPS-MTSS focuses on helping every student succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally. It provides support for students facing a wide range of challenges, including:
- Learning or academic difficulties
- Behavioral concerns
- Social-emotional needs
- Trauma or homelessness
- Chronic absenteeism
- Health issues, including substance use
- Family challenges
Each school’s Student Support Team works closely to identify the best supports for each student. The team regularly checks progress and adjusts interventions as needed to ensure every student gets the help they need to thrive.

Academic and Behavioral Interventions & Progress Monitoring
MTSS Blueprint
Outlines the district’s MTSS model, including its philosophy, framework, and core components.
PBIS World
Provides a wide range of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports organized by tier and specific student needs. The site also includes data-tracking tools to support progress monitoring.
easyCBM
Offers assessment and reporting tools for benchmarking and monitoring student progress over time.
RTI4Success
Developed by the Center on Response to Intervention at the American Institutes for Research, this resource supports schools in using an RTI framework to improve instruction through research-based interventions and progress monitoring.
Child Mind Institute
Features articles and resources for educators focused on learning, behavior, and classroom management to support student success.
Open Parachute
Supports student mental health through Tier 1 and Tier 2 lessons that include age-appropriate peer voices sharing real-life experiences.
