Dear Parents/Guardians:
I hope you are having a wonderful summer and are looking forward to a great school year. On behalf
of the staff at North Quincy High School, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school
year. I am excited to have the opportunity to be working with each student and family to ensure
your child’s academic success. To do so, communication between school and home is essential. To
keep parents/guardians informed, North Quincy High School utilizes several means of
communication. Our website, located at http://nqhs.quincypublicschools.com, houses a great deal
of information about our school as well as, information about after-school activities, sports and
sports schedules, band/chorus information, and many other announcements to keep
parents/guardians informed about their child’s education. Another means of keeping parents
informed is through email. In order to receive emails, an updated copy of your email address will
need to be in Aspen. To keep up to date on your child’s progress, please check Aspen on a regular
basis. Academic information can be found under the ACADEMICS tab. If you need assistance in
navigating this portion of Aspen or need your password reset, please contact Informational
Technology at 617-984-8770. If you need your child’s Aspen password reset, please call the Main
Office or Student Support Services.

staff and emergency vehicles are allowed to enter the main parking lot between and 7:00 a.m.
and 4:00 p.m. Regardless of the drop-off and pick-up location, please use caution when
doing so. Please help us to keep all of our students safe by following the aforementioned
procedures. Similar to last year, school breakfast and lunch will be free to all students. The
cafeteria opens each morning at 7:00 a.m. for students wishing to eat breakfast prior to the
start of school. If you have questions about your child’s/children’s schedule or would like to
make changes, please contact Student Support Services.
Chromebooks for 9th graders will be distributed during the first week of school. Students in
grades 10-12 should still have their assigned Chromebook from last year. Students who are
new to NQHS will receive a Chromebook during the week of September 7th.
We have set up a Google Classroom for incoming Freshmen, within which, we will post
information for our 9th graders. Please use the link below to join.
