Notice of Public Hearing:
Quincy Public Schools FY2021 Budget

Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 6:00 pm

Per Governor Baker’s order suspending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law,
G.L. c. 30A sec. 20, the public will not be allowed to physically access this School
Committee meeting. Members of the Public can access the meeting audio live on
QATV Channel 22 or at www.qatv.org. The meeting will also be recorded for rebroadcast and posted on the QPS website on Friday, June 5, 2020.

Consistent with the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 71, Section 38N, the Quincy School Committee will hold a Public Hearing on its proposed FY2020 Budget on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 6:00 pm via Remote Technology.

All interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard by submitting statements to the School Committee via email to: [email protected]. Please include your full name and mailing address as part of the email and use the subject line “QPS Budget Public Hearing.”

Quincy School Committee Public Hearing: FY2021 Budget

Public Hearing

A Public Hearing of the FY2021 Quincy Public Schools Budget was held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 via remote technology at 6:00 p.m. Superintendent DeCristofaro called the roll and present were School Committee Chair Mayor Thomas Koch, Mr. Paul Bregoli, Mr. Douglas Gutro, Mrs. Kathryn Hubley, Mrs. Emily Lebo, Mr. Frank Santoro, and Mr. Anthony Andronico, Vice Chair

Also present were: Dr. Richard DeCristofaro, Secretary; Ms. Laura Owens, Clerk; Deputy Superintendent Kevin Mulvey; and Mr. James Mullaney.

The Quincy School Committee held a Public Hearing on the FY2021 Budget. All interested parties were given the opportunity to be heard via email.

As no one submitted an email, the Public Hearing was closed at 6:02 pm.

On a motion by Mr. Gutro, seconded by Mrs. Hubley the FY2021 Quincy Public Schools Budget Public Hearing was adjourned at 6:03 pm.
