Per Governor Baker’s order suspending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A sec. 20, the public will not be allowed to physically access this School Committee meeting. Members of the Public can access the meeting live on QATV Channel 22 or at www.qatv.org. The meeting will also be recorded for rebroadcast and posted on the QPS website on Friday, June 4, 2021.

FY2022 Budget & Finance Subcommittee ~ June 2, 2021

A meeting of the Budget & Finance Subcommittee was held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 5:33 pm at the Coddington Building. Present were Mr. Douglas Gutro, Mrs. Kathryn Hubley, Mrs. Emily Lebo, Ms. Courtney Perdios, Mr. Frank Santoro, and Mayor Thomas Koch, Mayor and Subcommittee Chair. Also attending were Superintendent Kevin Mulvey, Assistant Superintendent Erin Perkins, Mr. James Mullaney, and Ms. Laura Owens, Clerk.

Mayor Koch opened the meeting for discussion of the FY2022 Quincy Public Schools budget. There was no discussion.

Mrs. Lebo made a motion to approve the FY2022 Quincy Public Schools budget as presented. Mrs. Hubley seconded the motion and on a roll call vote, the ayes have it, 6-0. Mr. Bregoli was absent.

The Budget will be presented to City Council on June 3, 2021 and eligible for vote at the June 9, 2021 School Committee Meeting.

Mrs. Lebo made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 5:40 pm. The motion was seconded by Mrs. Hubley and on a voice vote, the ayes have it.
